Sue´s thirty years of healthcare revenue cycle experience has transformed many mid-to large sized physician practices and healthcare organizations into models of efficiency. Sue’s experience is in both the academic and private practice environment as well as several years at a large consulting firm. As Vice-President of Professional Revenue Cycle for Accretive Health, Sue spent five years driving operational improvement which increased revenue and improved average monthly cash collections. She oversaw the operational improvements of multiple project teams driving improvement to professional revenue.in her position as Vice President of Operations for Loyola University Physician Foundation, Sue was able repair relationships between the Foundation and the faculty and built the trust needed to create a strong, competent management team empowered to achieve long-term excellence. The results were unprecedented with a 16% improvement in revenue on the same physician productivity.

Background:

Sue began her career in revenue cycle working her way up through all functional areas. She later became General Manager of a national billing service which was purchased by NeuroSource, Inc., a practice management company. Sue became Vice President over the revenue cycle division. Sue then moved into the academic circle as Vice-President of Operations at Loyola University Physician Foundation. After turning around the organization, Sue moved to Accretive Health before forming her own company, Enhanced Medical Revenue, LLC.
